Randy Dellow - RBD President / CEORandy has 25 years experience in the surface analysis and scientific instrument industry.  He has a worldwide reputation for providing personal service and commitment.  He and his wife Rena founded RBD in 1990 in order to fill the gaps in support and technology present in the industry.

Joe has worked with RBD for over 10 years, directing RBD's software product development and providing the surface science community with state-of-the art instrument control and surface analysis applications.

Charles "Jim" Koch - Consultant

Jim Koch - UConn FET ConsultantJim Koch is the inventor of the fingerprint enhancement technology licensed by Ionyx.  Jim has retired as Lab Manager of the Surface Science Laboratory at the Institute of Materials Science, University of Connecticut, and currently serves as a consultant.

 

Dr. Harris L. Marcus - Professor / Director of the Institute for Materials Science

Dr. Harris L. Marcus - UConn Professor/DirectorHarris Marcus has over 40 years experience in industry, teaching and research. He holds 25 patents, as written one book and co-edited 15, and published 300 papers. His research includes materials science applications in forensics, bio-nanotechnology, materials processing, and solid freeform fabrication.

Dan Goberman - UConn Surface Science Facility ManagerDan Goberman is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Connecticut, and the current Facility Manager of the Surface Science Laboratory at the Institute of Materials Science.

 

Ionyx is a division of RBD Enterprises, Inc.  Our mission is to bring patented surface science technology to forensic laboratories.  Working with the University of Connecticut, we founded the Ionyx division of RBD Enterprises to focus on producing a Fingerprint Enhancement System that will revolutionize latent fingerprint detection and biometrics.

 For over a decade RBD has been providing products, engineering, and service to leaders in the surface science and analysis industry.

RBD maintains an engineering and manufacturing square foot facility in Bend Oregon, and a satellite office in North Carolina.  The company's 15 year history in the scientific instrumentation industry has been represented by innovative engineering, quality service, and a personal commitment to our customers.
